Sony misinformed the press, not the PS3 controller got the award!

Sony has misunderstood everyone in a completely incomprehensible way, and as it turns out, it wasn’t the PlayStation 3 game controller, SIXAXIS, that received the award.

As we reported, the Japanese claim that the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded the PS3 controller with an Emmy Award in the Technology and Engineering category.

Two days after the announcement, the Japanese giant was forced to correct a mistake that was probably not accidental, so it turned out that SIXAXIS had won nothing and received only an award in another category, shared with Nintendo. In fact, the PlayStation 2 DualShock 2’s two analog arms and the Nintendo D-Pad have been rewarded.
