Is the cooling Android 2.4 Ice Cream coming in the summer heat?

In the summer, the latest version of Android for smartphones may arrive.

Google puts us in a little swing when it numbers its operating systems called sweets. So far we’ve been at 2.3 Gingerbread, and then we’ve started guessing what serial number the next version, Honeycomb, will get. Some have guessed at 2.4 while others have guessed at 3.0. CES2011 has come and Google has unveiled its tablet-optimized operating system, Honeycomb, now officially called 3.0, but it has also been semi-officially announced that this version will only be available on tablets, not smartphones. Then the following question may come: What do small screeners get?

Google has previously stated that the Android operating system will be updated twice a year and this has so far surpassed it with versions 2.1-2.3 released since the spring. We could even calm down, because after the December release of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the 3.0 Honeycomb was already released in January. But if it’s true that 3.0 was built for tablets following a new trend, you should soon be giving something to PDAs as well.

Pocket-lint, citing various sources, assumes that the next update will be Ice Cream, whose name has long been known - will be renamed Android 2.4 numerically and, true to its name, will be released in the summer heat.

This would split the development direction of Android and prepare for 2.xa PDAs and 3.xa tablets. This has not been the case so far, and many also assume it is just a temporary coercive move from Google and the two lines of development will soon be reunited.
But what serial number will you get? 2.5, 3.1 or 4.0 and will he be called Jellybean?
