Noctua exposed itself again
Quiet operation, outstanding cooling characteristics and universal mounting characterize the Noctua NH-C12P.
On the "top" of the NH-C12P is a 120 mm (NF-P12), rotating at a maximum of 1300 rpm, according to Noctua's measurements, 92 m per hour3 an air-moving fan operating at a noise level of 19,8 dBA was added. Of course, the speed can also be adjusted manually, even reduced to 900, at which point our ears only have to "endure" 12,6 dBA. The self-stabilizing oil pressure bearing is not only one of the cornerstones of quiet operation, but also has a beneficial effect on the lifespan of the fan, which the Austrian company specified at a minimum of 150 operating hours.
A good fan alone is still sweet, well known to Noctua experts, so the other cooling components are also quality parts: the base of the processor is in contact with a copper base, the six copper heat pipes are coated with a layer of nickel and the large rib is made of aluminum. .
