Will Santa bring the 28nm AMD GPU?According to Heise Online, at least then we can expect the arrival of the first 28 nm tiles.

We've seen AMD's 28nm product several times, most recently at Fusion 11 drew attention to the smooth running of Dragon Age 2, but unfortunately it is not known under what settings this said in high detail.

On Fusion 11, Matt Skynner, the company’s vice president, said deliveries could begin soon and appear to be confirmed this year’s start. According to the leaked information, the presentation may take place between December 6 and 9. So now they are doing somewhat better with the production of 28nm bandwidth graphics processors, but it is likely that TSMC is still struggling with production right now, so the size of the expected stocks is unknown.

The parameters of the tile are still unknown, so we grope in the dark. Most likely, a mobile GPU that uses the VLIW4 architecture will emerge, but in the latter case, it can't be ruled out that we'll already be able to see the GCN architecture on deployment. Based on the information so far, the first clause, that it will be a solution for portable devices, seems more certain, as the novelty has been demonstrated in this form every time so far. And based on its performance, we’ll probably get a mid-range GPU that performs slightly above the current fusion offering, thus complementing the mobile market.
