Slim Silence A-Plus is built for smaller AMD CPUs

Gelid’s compact cooler is compatible with almost any AMD processor, but can only be used really effectively on lower-power models.

The height of the cooling system with two 8 mm heat pipes is barely 28 mm, so its usability is excellent in this respect: Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX, HTPC, panel PC, car PC, 1U high server housing. The PWM-controlled air agitator is capable of speeds between 1200 and 2600 rpm, with noise levels ranging from 15 to 27,2 decibels. The small aluminum heat sink does not assume a large weight at first glance, and it is true that the construction weighs just 282 grams. The manufacturer recommends the Slim Silence A-Plus cooling system for AMD 2650e, 3250e, 4850e and 5050e caliber processors, but it also handles 95-watt CPUs under the right conditions. In any case, it is indicative that even the largest member of the former list can handle 45 watts.
