From a leaked slide, we learned what recommended retail prices NVIDIA set for the GeForce GTX 280 and GTX 260 graphics controllers.
The recommended retail price of the GeForce GTX 280 will be 649 dollars, and that of the GTX 260 will be 449 dollars, which assumes a purchase price of 98 thousand and 68 thousand forints, respectively, expressed in the currency of our local country. Of course, such unconfirmed information should be treated with caution. The production cost of the GT200 GPU is 100-120 US dollars, mainly this is why the high price is justified.
