As is already known to many, from July 2021, 1, duty-free will be abolished for Chinese (and, of course, all other non-EU) products currently ordered from abroad (~ $ 40). Chinese stores are already preparing for this, opening more and more warehouses within the EU from which we can still order freely. The closest to us are the Czech warehouses.

But not only are warehouses multiplying, but the range of products that can be ordered is also expanding at an insane rate. This is good, because if we order from these warehouses, then (if both the courier company and the post office want it) we can get the port you ordered within 5-7 working days. This is a significant advantage over Chinese warehouses, from which the average delivery time is 2-4 weeks, in addition, in the case of an EU warehouse, we do not have to reckon with the payment of customs duties or VAT.

As I predicted earlier, there has now been a sharp decline in products in European warehouses of Chinese stores. However, the selection, as you will see from the summary below, is still plentiful, true, for example, those who wanted to put Xiaomi notebooks under the tree can only get them from China.

It is very important to pay attention to this: At the time of writing, all products can be ordered from the Czech, ie abbreviated CZ warehouse. However, the stock is not endless, if you run out of Czech warehouse, the link may show the Chinese warehouse (HK, CN), from where the order is no longer duty free! If ES or GB is indicated instead of CZ (Czech warehouse) then there is no problem, the former is the Spanish warehouse, the latter is the English warehouse, all of which come duty free!

Xiaomi Laser Projectors

It’s been 3 years since Xiaomi exploded into the market with a laser projector. The structure got incredible capabilities, its price was low compared to the competition, so no wonder it was a success. Over the years, the company has created several similar structures, which did not differ from its predecessor in their operation, only further developed, the more expensive ones, for example, received 4K resolution. But what made the Xiaomi projector so good?

The Xiaomi Mi laser projector was the world’s first theater-class laser projector for home use, capable of displaying images up to 150 inches in diameter. The nice thing about this is that you don’t even have to be far from the wall for this big diagonal. The high-depth ultra-focus lens system allows you to get a sharp image at a distance of up to 5 centimeters, and from a distance of 50 centimeters you can enjoy a true cinematic experience with a 150-inch diagonal image. This essentially means that even a traditional TV can be replaced with it, as you don’t need significantly more space next to the wall, yet you get a much larger picture diagonal.

The Xiaomi Mi projector uses ALPD 3.0 laser light source technology developed by Appotronics, which works completely differently than the usual DLP technology. The final image is created by microscopic mirrors (reflective lenses) in the DMD chip, which are able to move millions of times per second, creating the image. The number of mirrors is equal to the resolution of the projected image. The projector can have a maximum brightness of up to 5000 lumens and a static contrast ratio of 3000: 1. The projector shouldn't be ashamed of color fidelity either, with NTSC color space coverage reaching 85 percent. The Ricoh-manufactured projector system used in Xiaomi Mi has a lifespan of 25 hours, which means it can be used for up to 000 years with two hours of average use per day.

I wrote three years ago that there is no doubt this is the home cinema of the future. Unfortunately, this future still came for a few, but I thought I’d put 2-3 types on this list.

My current favorite. I bought his predecessor two years ago, which is still in great condition, even though I tortured him enough.
