Triple SLI is no stranger to the ASUS 9800 GT either

This 9800 GT from ASUS has also been an extraordinary success.

ASUS has made the very "gray" 9800 GT unique again: a more attractive offer than the 8800 GTs with a modified BIOS is the previously presented EN9800GT TOP and that EN9800GT ULTIMATE as well as the new EN9800GT HybridPower. The TOP and ULTIMATE versions stand out from the field through special cooling and elevated clocks, and the HybridPower due to the two SLI connectors. Most 9800 GTs have only one SLI connector, which immediately excludes triple SLI, although in principle this would have been one of the main "innovation" compared to the 8800 GT.

However, ASUS was not satisfied with this, the reference cooling was "banished" and replaced by the already well-known Glaciator. Nothing proves its effectiveness better than the fact that it was able to reduce the temperature of the GPU under load by about 7 degrees Celsius — at least according to ASUS' measurements. The OC was not included this time, so we have to "make friends" with the clock signal trio of 600/1500/1800 MHz.
