Wanbo Mozart1 - The price of Wanbo's top projector also dropped to 11.11

Wanbo Mozart1 - The most unique projector of the year has arrived!

Unfortunately, it's not cheap either, but maybe I didn't expect that in the case of the Wanbo Mozart1.

The shape is similar to Wanbo's other machines, but only from afar and with a strong squint. But this is also Wanbo. But the cube is bigger than any of their previous machines, it's heavier, the optics are bigger, and the whole thing is a completely different dimension. This is already evident from the fact that it does not have the usual standard thread at the bottom, so it cannot be simply screwed onto a tripod, it needs a table.

From the outside, three things stand out at first. One is that a normal 220-volt cable goes into it, like in computers. In other words, the power supply is inside, and it is suspected that it is not too small, if the power is not supplied via a razor cable. The other is the optics, which are larger than on previous machines. I note that there is still no protection on the optics, which I regret a little. The third is that it has an interesting formation on the side that says Wanbo & Acoustics, and that's the thing that gave Mozart its name!

The fact is that a smaller soundbar was built into this machine. Well, not because of the shape, but rather because we get a similar method here, as in the case of smaller soundbars. In other words, the sound system is in a closed box, in which we find 2 8-watt speakers and this membrane placed on the side, which is pushed by the air moved by the speakers. In other words, it is a passive radiator, which gives us decent bass and real dynamics. The two 8-watt speakers are not unusual performance either, but with this passive radiator, the projector is even suitable for listening to music.

The picture. The manufacturer offers a lot of extras, some of which are already known from other Wanbo projectors, such as the lens system made entirely of glass, which here has 5 members. The advantage of glass lenses is that they are not eaten by UV, they do not become dull or deformed, i.e. eternal life plus one day. The other is the completely closed projection system, which means that the lens of this projector will not get dusty from the inside at all.

But the big trick is not this, or these, but the amount of luminous flux, which is 900 ANSI for this machine. Where is the T2 Max with its 200 ANSI brightness... This amount of light is available in life anyway, no joke, really, with a normal screen, this machine can replace a TV (at least if you darken it a bit), which knowing its price not bad!

Among the extras, there is everything we can expect, i.e. automatic focus, automatic keystone correction and, as a novelty, obstacle avoidance. This is a feature that detects when there is an object in the path of the projector and tries to resize the image so that the object does not interfere with the projection. Interesting.

At the end, the black soup. Despite the great sound, high brightness, HDR10 and a thousand extras, we don't get Widevine L1. It is completely incomprehensible, since this is the company's top projector. And it's really top notch in a lot of respects, it already competes with more serious machines in terms of brightness, and somehow they managed to make sure that despite the high brightness, the cooling didn't get crazy loud. So the machine is great in every way.

All in all, this projector is really top notch, the quality of the image, the strength of the light and, last but not least, the quality of the sound make it a brilliant choice even as a Christmas present. The price has now become a little better, a BGDB095 delivered from a Czech warehouse for HUF 101 with a coupon code. The delivery is expected to start before November 500, so the machine can arrive under the tree.
