Fujitsu Siemens Computers' new Services Division is ready to launch

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has announced that its new Service Division is up and running as planned.

The new organization will further strengthen Europe's position as a leading IT supplier in the market for IT infrastructure solutions, services and products. Fujitsu Siemens Computers thus provides its customers with a complete portfolio of services in the segment of mobile and infrastructure solutions, which is considered a key growth area. The new Services Division will focus on building end-to-end platform solutions. Services related to high-volume products continue to be provided by the company’s partners.

"Thanks to our strategy based on mobile technology and the Dynamic Data Center, we are in an exceptionally good position. The new Service Division further strengthens these two pillars and enables us to provide even more added value to our customers," pointed out the President and CEO of Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Bernd Bischoff. "We expect a lot from the customer experiences and product expertise concentrated in the new organization, and we want to use this knowledge to develop new products and solutions. Our goal is for the operation of the new Service Division to become profitable within a year."

Both the existing platform business and the new Services Division will operate under the direct control of Fujitsu Siemens Computers BV (Holding) - the latter under the direction of Neil Allpress, Vice President of FSC IT Product Services. Richard Schlauri, Vice President of IT Product Services Germany, is responsible for operations in Germany. Hereinafter, both are members of the Board of Directors of Fujitsu Siemens Computers.

The Services Division, which employs a total of about 22 people in 4400 countries, generated sales of € 1,3 billion in the most recent fiscal year. The organization is represented in 170 countries around the world by representing its partners.
