T-Mobile is the fastest

In Hungary, T-Mobile has the fastest mobile broadband data network - this has been confirmed for years by the comparable results of Hungarian mobile operators' own surveys using the same measurement methods.

According to the latest data published as part of the mandatory annual data provision for the National Media and Communications Authority (NMHH), T-Mobile's broadband mobile data network typically provides 2,45 Mbps download and 818 Kbps upload speeds, typically 1 Mbps. providing higher download speeds to its subscribers than the second-ranked mobile operator.

"The latest results are particularly interesting in light of the fact that, to our surprise, one of our competitors is trying to claim the "fastest mobile data network" rating in their ads. I am convinced that customer information can only be accurate and credible based on uniform, consensus measurements within the industry. This is the measurement we refer to and which proves T-Mobile's primacy," stressed István Király, deputy marketing director of Magyar Telekom, evaluating the latest results.

T-Mobile has reliably offered its customers guaranteed download speeds above 2 Mbps in its designated 3G / HSPA network coverage areas, ahead of its competitors. In addition, T-Mobile is the only domestic mobile operator to offer 2 Mbps and 800 Kbps as guaranteed download and upload speeds in its general terms and conditions (for example, ten times as much as other domestic mobile operators in case of download).
