Fortinet has been leading the UTM market for 5 and a half years

According to the latest IDC Tracker research data, Fortinet has once again become the number one UTM manufacturer. 

Fortinet continues to maintain its market leadership position in Q22. The Multifunction Firewalls (UTM) market is growing at 30% a year, according to IDC, while Fortinet has been able to grow 37% last year, further strengthening its leadership.
“More and more companies are choosing integrated protection, UTM applications to protect their network and data, reducing the complexity of diversified security solutions,” said Ken Xie, founder and CEO of Fortinet.

FortiGate's UTM product line is strong in the markets for small and medium-sized businesses, large enterprises and government institutions, as well as provider-level virtualized firewalls. Dániel Nemes, the managing director of the commissioner representing Fortinet in Hungary, said: “We took over the representation of the manufacturer at the end of last year. In the past one year, although from a lower base, sales in Hungary have almost tripled, so Fortinet may soon become a dominant manufacturer in Hungary as well. ”
