Blu-ray and DivX

Interesting pairing, but don’t think of anything wrong.

One of the experts in video compression, DivX Inc., has announced that six new Blu-ray players have received the DivX certificate, which are now officially capable of interpreting the latest motion picture materials created with this coding process (and of course the company's plecsnije will be smiling on the front panel). The first BR-compatible "gadget" with such capabilities was the Playstation 3.
