"Gold" power supplies from NZXT as well
The overseas company is serious about participating in the power supply market.
The California-based company NZXT, which is less well-known in Hungary, was involved in the construction of computer cases, but from now on, exactly from September, it will also enter the power supply market. The company will immediately blow five models that will be part of a series called HALE90 capable of delivering 550, 650, 750, 850 and 1000 watts of power. One of the special features of this family is that all five members received the 80 Plus Gold, i.e. the gold sticker for its outstanding efficiency. In addition, each one boasts a white color and is cooled by a 14 cm diameter fan. The series is characterized by the so-called “Single Rail Design”, meaning that the 12-volt branch was not divided into several branches, but left in one. With the exception of the 550 watt model, all are modularly wired. The video at the bottom of the news clearly shows that the 1000-volt branch of the 12-watt model is capable of 83 Amperes.
The pricing of the HALE90 power supply family looks like this:
- 550 Watts: 110 euros
- 650 Watts: 130 euros
- 750 Watts: 150 euros
- 850 Watts: 170 euros
- 1000 Watts: 200 euros
Each of them has a five-year warranty from the manufacturer and will be available from September 3rd.
