Flextronics will create 800 jobs in Pécs

Flextronics' plant in Pécs has undergone a complete renovation; and the newly hired employees received a comprehensive training at the company's Budapest unit.

“We are working closely with the local employment center in Pécs in order to have 100 employees in Pécs by the end of the year. We are further exploring the possibility of expansion in Pécs, as in addition to our efforts to comply perfectly with our agreement with Huawei, we are working to win more customers. According to our plans, the number of Flextronics employees in Pécs will increase to 800 in the next 12 months, ”said Tibor Czakó, General Manager of Flextronics Global Services Hungary.

Flextronics plans to inaugurate the plant in January 2012.
