The new AMD APU didn't stop up to 8 GHz!

A processor with IGP has never reached such a clock signal.

The AMD A10-6800K APU was very rough, as it managed to spin up to 2 GHz on the ASUS F85A8-V PRO motherboard. This required a very extreme core voltage of exactly 2,008 volts, which is unlikely to be the secret of longevity anyway.

Further details here readable.
