Intel desktop schedule has arrived!

Several new models are expected to be released in the second half of 2013. Let’s start from the top: Ivy Bridge-E processors, called the Core i7-4820K, i7-4930K and i7-4960X, are coming in the third quarter. Also around this time is expected the strengthening of the Haswell generation, the Core i7-4771, and the release of cheaper models. The unusual numbering of the latter product must have appeared to our readers anyway, but unfortunately at the moment we cannot tell what changes have taken place.

The mid-range of fourth-generation Core processors is enhanced by the Core i3-4130, i3-4330 and i3-4340. These will also make the Pentium G3220, G3420 and G3430 cheaper, and the new H81 chipset will also help cost-effectiveness.

Looking at Celeron processors of recent generations, we believe that these solutions definitely have a raison d’être. Unfortunately, Intel only wants to launch Haswell-based Celerons next year.
