At the ongoing WinHEC conference, the above sentence was uttered straight from Bill Gates.

Of course, this data relates to licenses sold, making Vista the fastest-growing operating system in Microsoft’s history. It’s a real milestone that 100 days after the January launch, they managed to sell twice as many licenses as they did when Windows XP debuted that year. In addition, 78% of the copies sold were some sort of Premium version.

In addition, they announced that their server operating system, developed until now under the code name Windows Server "Longhorn", will be named Windows Server 2008.
