ASUS 'two new notebooks are also capable of 3D
The Republic of Gamers series is expanded with the new 15,6-inch G53 and 17,3-inch G73. The gift NVIDIA 3D Vision package can be used with their 120 Hz LED display.
The G53 (JW-IX159V) is not a lightweight piece, weighing 3,6 kilograms. It's pretty well installed, but that's not surprising on a gaming machine: 1.73 GHz Core i7-740QM processor, 6 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 460M video card, 750 GB HDD, Blu-ray combo drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, 2 megapixel camera, 8 in 1 card reader, a USB 3.0 port and 5200 mAh battery are included. For this, ASUS is asking for 1899 euros.
The G73(JW-91121V) has the same CPU and GPU as its smaller brother, but it has a 2× Blu-ray writer, 8 GB of memory, and a 1 TB hard drive. Both machines come with Windows 7 Home Premium, for the "magnificent" model you have to leave 2199 euros at the checkout, if you choose it.
