3 GHz DDR3 memory from Team Group

After the 2800 MHz modules, Team Group came up with an eight-gigabyte memory kit that ticked at around 3 GHz.

130aThe two-channel Xtreem memory package works with timings 11-13-13-35 and a clock speed of 3000 MHz. There is no news about the operating voltage, but it could probably be 1,65V. At such a speed, proper quality control is of course extremely important - and cooling, which was solved with aluminum fins - all the more so, since the Team Group is not secretly targeting hardcore tuners. The memory supports version 1.3 of Intel's XMP technology, which makes overclocking even easier. It is worth noting that even Intel Ivy Bridge officially supports "only" 2133 MHz DDR3 memories, so there is no longer a guarantee for this 3 GHz speed from this side.

The company offers a lifetime warranty on the product. There is no information on expected pricing, but a cost-effective solution is not to be expected.
