Zotac GeForce GTX 670 TwinCooler details

At first glance, it’s definitely unusual for such a high-performance graphics accelerator to get such a short PCB. The length of the card is slightly less than 18 cm.

The Zotac GeForce GTX 670 TwinCooler is exactly 60 mm shorter than the NVIDIA reference solution. The engineers nevertheless pressed two 8 cm diameter fans onto the card. In addition to the GK104 GPU, the densely laminated aluminum ribbing also solves the memory and VRM cooling, but we can say goodbye to two expansion slots. The TwinCooler is not only flashy but also efficient. Noise emissions were reduced by 4 decibels and the temperature was reduced by 11 degrees compared to the factory cooling of the greens, which is pretty good as the card is factory overdriven. The graphics processor spins at 954 MHz (the GPU Boost can boost it to 1033 MHz), while the 2GB GDDR5 onboard memories spin at 6,208 GHz - in contrast, the reference clocks look like 915/980/6008 MHz.

The power requirement may have increased minimally, so the power supply for this model can be solved with two 6-pin PCI-E power connectors. In terms of outputs, we have two dual-link DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort connector.

The Zotac GeForce GTX 670 TwinCooler will start in a week. Expected pricing is covered by a dense fog.
