ZERO: another HTPC from VidaBox
VidaBox has recently unveiled its latest HTPC (Home Theater PC), which the manufacturer claims will do its job completely noise-free.
Even though the ZERO fantasy multimedia computer is made up of modern and high-heat components, it does not require any fan cooling. Unfortunately, not much can be learned on the manufacturer's website about what they call a special heat dissipation technology.
Also, the hardware is only listed in a sort of list, so we can't find out more details about each component than the basic information:
- processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
- memory: 1 GB DDR2, 800 MHz
- hard drive: up to 1,5 TB
- TV receiver: two pieces, optionally HDTV tuners
- video card: GeForce 7600 GT 256 MB, can be up to 7950 GX2
- optical drive: DVD burner, optionally HD DVD or Blu-ray
The VidaBox ZERO, which can be ordered in several colors - black, silver and a combination of the two - is very expensive, starting at $ 4399, which is equivalent to about HUF 924.
