Xiaomi MIX 4 - full specification?
Just yesterday we wrote that we know essentially nothing about the new phone, for which a full specification is coming today.
For our part, we find the data more of a guess, although it is a fact that it roughly coincides with what we expect. That is, the phone beyond that will be beautiful, full-screen, frameless will be a lot of new things will not carry. The only uncertainty may still be the selfie camera (no), many hope that the camera under the display will debut in this phone, but for our part we believe this just as much as we speculate about the fingerprint sensor under the thousandth display. You may have remembered that for roughly two years before the release of every new high-end phone, the news of the fingerprint getting under the scanner glass cracked, but then nothing became of it. We expect that the introduction of the self-contained camera under the first glass will be further away, at least half a year, but rather due in a year and a half.
Going back to the specification, the Snapdragon 855 remains, so we won’t get the 855 Plus, the memory will be 6GB, the storage will probably be 128GB, although we’d be surprised if there weren’t multiple builds. The display is, of course, AMOLED, 6,4 inches, 1440 x 3120 pixels, with a density of 537 ppi pixels. The self-timer camera is 32 megapixels, on the back there is only one pair of cameras, of which the main camera will be 48- and the second sensor 16-megapixel. The battery capacity is 4500 mAh.
The point is, we think this specification is probably close to reality and completely unnecessary to expect crazy big news. For our part, we find the back camera the most disappointing (if what’s described true) because a sensor larger than 48 megapixels wouldn’t have been an exaggeration to the phone at all. If we should guess, the only real novelty is a camera with a real multiple zoom like Huawei or Oppo, but we don’t see a chance of incorporating it more than 30 percent now. We are looking forward to the developments, or that we will be right, or to those who expect a miracle from MIX 4.
