Xiaomi Mi Note 2 - Affordable Quality
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is no longer the latest piece, but that’s exactly why we’re taking it out again right now. Now it’s been enough time to get into the affordable band, while the design is still fresh and the hardware is still strong.
The fact that it is not the latest handset also suggests that it has a better, more powerful phone as well. It would be a shame to deny this, however, looking at the pictures and browsing the hardware specifications, we know that this device will delight our eyes for many years to come.
The phone has been given an aluminum case with a 5,7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels on the front. As we are used to with Xiaomi phones, a special version of Android, MIUI, is running here as well, depending on the release, it is also at least version 8.
The software was operated by a quad-core Snapdragon 821 with a maximum clock speed of 2,35 GHz. In addition to the processor, they also work on an Adreno 530 GPU to keep graphics running smoothly. The phone has 6 GB of system memory and 128 GB of storage.
We won't have any complaints about cameras, as we can find a 22,56 megapixel solution on the back, which allows us to take 4K shots. Built-in vibration protection helps ensure high-quality video recording. We shouldn't be ashamed of the front panel camera either, as it's 8 megapixels, so we can take great self-portraits with it.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a 4070 mAh battery. Fast charging is aided by Quick Charge 3.0 technology. There are many kinds of radios. Navigation is aided by the presence of GPS / A-GPS / Glonass / Beidou. We can keep in touch with the outside world via Bluetooth 4.2 or wifi that supports the ac standard. Of course, we also get plenty of sensors, including a gyroscope, E-compass, accelerometer and barometer in the phone.
We haven't reached the end of the capabilities yet, but it already seems that we are getting a serious phone for our money, the price of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is now just over $ 500, or about 150 thousand forints.
