Xiaomi Mi 6X / A2 - specification and video have been received

The Xiaomi 5X or aka A1 has become a very successful phone. In the case of the A1, the factory Android system added to the success with a shovel, but the basic thing, the two phones are the same, and it would not have gone without its great hardware.
Before yesterday we reported on the cameras built into the phone, now let’s talk a little more about the central chip built into the phone! While you might think the new phone will get a new chip, I have to make you bitter, the Snapdragon 626 is all but new. Qualcomm unveiled it in October 2016, but it didn’t really debut then, but in February 2016, when it still ran as Snapdragon 625. Qualcomm reached for the good old clock lifting trick then to squeeze more power out of the chip.
The chip isn’t weak anyway, and it actually knows everything you’d expect from a modern, mid-range unit. The chip is made in TSMC plant at a bandwidth of 14 nanometers, is 64-bit, and supports the ARMv8 instruction set. The processor in it works with eight cores, which are divided into two clusters. In both, we find four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, two of which have a maximum clock speed of 2210 and the other four have a maximum clock speed of 2000 MHz.
In addition to the processor, we also find the memory controller, which handles my LPDDR3 SDRAM, which can spin up to 933 MHz. The data bus is 32-bit, which is only a single, single-channel, which means that the maximum bandwidth is only 7,46 gigabytes per second. The graphics accelerator installed in the chip is the Adreno 506. Nor is it a young commodity, it worked in its predecessor released in February 2016.
To date, the Snapdragon 626 is sufficient for radios and external connections. It already supports 802.11ac WiFi, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.2. Capable of using multiple cameras, the maximum supported resolution is 24 megapixels. In the 626, one of the improvements over its predecessor was the incorporation of more advanced modems, so this chip already works with X9 LTE modems. Here we have to mention the antenna technology called Qualcomm TruSignal, which comes in handy when you’re in a place with lower signal strength.
Before we start crying because such an "old" chip is put into the phone, it's good to point out that Xiaomi knows what they're doing. It is no coincidence that the same central units are included in several generations of their phones, as these are mature, economical and powerful units with good energy management, which to this day provide enough cocoa to cooperate with the other hardware of the well-coordinated phone. In other words, we dare to put the brakes on the fact that there will be no problems with the Snapdragon 626 either, the current MIUI or Android version will run smoothly and smoothly with it.
