XFX motherboard based on nForce 650i Ultra

Known for its quality video cards and motherboards, XFX has launched its latest nForce 600 motherboard.

The NVIDIA nForce 650i Ultra-based XFX motherboard has four memory slots for up to 8 GB of DDR2 800/667/533 MHz system memory. The Socket 775 socket on the motherboard can accommodate Intel Core 2 Quad, Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core 2 Extreme, Intel Pentium 4, Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition, Intel Pentium D and Intel Celeron D processors, while the system bus frequency can be up to 1333 MHz.

The not-so-attractive dark green PCB features a piece of PCI Express x16 socket, plus two PCIe x1 and three conventional PCI connectors on the board. Also worth mentioning are the integrated eight-channel sound generator, the gigabit network controller, the four USB 2.0 ports on the back, passive bridge cooling, and the handling of four SATA and also 430 PATA devices provided by the nForce 4i South Bridge.
