An attractive keyboard-mouse combo arrived from the Logitech workshop

The manufacturer’s new set could be a worthy successor to the much-loved MX 3200.

The comparison with the keyboard-mouse pair mentioned in the introduction is by no means a coincidence, as Logitech has retained its successful predecessor model found in the design of the MK700 and then offered a slightly refreshed offer now in the form of the MKXNUMX kit. Once again, the set has been designed with ergonomics in mind: both the keyboard and mouse focus on comfortable use. This time the keyboard breaks Waveinstead of the traditional layout that is easily familiar to everyone. This time, precise and comfortable typing is aided by soft-pressed, short-distance keys and a rugged wrist support that keeps your hands from overloading even longer text entries. A little attention is paid to the use of the LCD display, on which, in addition to the status of the keyboard battery, the status of the Caps Lock, Scroll Lock and Num Lock switches can also be checked at a glance.

The rodent that arrives on store shelves as part of the set is reminiscent of the MX620, which has been a major success: the ominous device pairs its well-proven design with the MX Revolution mouse's special scroll wheel and a laser sensor, which seems to be the ideal choice.

The MK700 already uses Logitech's newly introduced "Unifying Receiver" technology for wire-free communication: the essence of the technology is that supported peripherals can be connected to the computer via a single transmitter/receiver, so there is no need to sacrifice extra USB ports to connect additional wireless components. In addition to these, the "Unifying Receiver" provides more advanced data transmission than before, which represents progress in the field of interference protection and data security. The latter is due to the inclusion of the AES algorithm, which, thanks to its 128-bit encryption, makes it almost impossible to remotely "eavesdrop" on devices free of vulnerabilities.

The Logitech MK700 is the first to enter the overseas market; the recommended retail purchase price of the set is $ 99, or approximately $ 19.
