LG announced the release of the Optimus 2X last December and then unveiled the device to the general public at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January this year.

Key features of the LG Optimus 2X with dual-core processor:

  • 4 ″ diagonal WVGA touch screen
  • 8 GB memory (expandable up to 32 GB via SD card slot)
  • 1 mAh battery
  • 8 MP rear and 1,3 MP front camera
  • Content projection via HDMI connection
  • Video playback and recording in 1080p MPEG-4 / H.263 / H.264 format
  • Available services in English: Google Voice Search hang (voice search), Google Voice Action ™ (voice control), Google Goggles ™ (image recognition), Google Shopper ™ (product search by photo), Google Maps ™ (map software)

The LG Optimus 2X is already available in Hungary in the Telenor network and in the Extreme Digital online store.
