Video: Nokia 5230 processor tuning
In a video, we can see the processor speed of a Nokia 5230 phone almost doubled.
A video has been posted on the Dailymobile forum tuning the processor of a 5230 device. The increase in frequency is basically not new, as some will still remember that the 5800 was released by the manufacturer with a CPU running at 369 MHz and then increased to 434 MHz during an official firmware update. However, if the manufacturer can do it, then in theory the operation is possible for anyone.
The video is used to train the AMR800 CPU to no less than 11 MHz. Although the modification is still being tested, if the tests are successful, the tuning will be available to anyone. Unfortunately, it is not yet known how much the frequency of our device will affect the performance or standby time of our device in everyday use.
