Blood Bath and FX-4130

The last act saw a gigantic price cut at a number of AMD CPUs, in addition to the arrival of the FX-4130.phenom II In addition to the A-series Llano APUs, the aging Phenom II and the FX family also did not survive the attack of the price gouger. The size of the correction is between 1 and 23 percent. There has been a symbolic price reduction for a couple of Phenom II models, but for example the popular 955 and 965 models will soon be available at a much cheaper price in our favorite online store. It might be worth taking advantage of the opportunity, since these are processors blessed with really great performance - we can find fault "only" in the consumption, although there is quite a big one.
Llano APUs won’t be attractive alternatives for long (the second generation is coming in October), so here, accompanied by a last seizure, we got an average price cut of 15 percent. There have been changes in the FX era for similar reasons, but here we have to catch up with 11%, which is still not bad.

According to CPU-World, the FX-4130 quad-core processor is already imminent. The new feature, which uses the Bulldozer microarchitecture, ticks at 3,8 GHz by default and can manage 4 MB of third-level cache. Despite the 125-watt power class, the Turbo Core process can only boost the pace by 100 MHz - which seems a bit disappointing. AMD has set a price of $ 112 for the FX-4130.
