Addonics optical drive handles all formats

The hybrid unit comes in two versions.

The optical drive, which also works with HD DVD, Blu-ray, DVD and CD discs, is practically nothing more than a "traditional" reading unit packed in an external housing, which, depending on the version, establishes a physical connection with the computer via an eSATA or eSATA and USB 2.0 connection. As is usual with hybrid units, it can unfortunately only read blue laser formats, but it also writes DVDs at 16× and CDs at a maximum speed of 48×.

The 409 model, equipped with an eSATA port only, is available for $ 2.0, with the USB 429 version.
