The NGage series is over

Nokia has officially announced that it will stop manufacturing NGage phones.

Nokia will not produce more such devices after NGage and NGage QD. The games will now target the Series 60-based series, and these series devices will be equipped with music and video playback capabilities until 2007. Nokia’s move isn’t surprising: NGage was famous for the difficulty of developing programs for it, and the hardware wasn’t exactly perfect either.
