The new Sony Handycam® HDR-GW66VE is equipped for all the challenges you may face when traveling. With its lightweight body and easy operation, the new water, dust, shock and antifreeze camera is already a favorite this year.
With a waterproof camera up to 10 meters, you can take perfectly sharp photos and Full HD videos while sunbathing, evening walks, swimming or skiing. SteadyShot ™ Active Mode corrects hand-shake for a smoother, more professional shot, even when zooming. Thanks to the high-quality G lens ™ and Exmor R ™ CMOS sensor, the camera allows you to capture detailed videos and clear still images even in changing and extreme lighting conditions. With the extra capture button on the front of the HDR-GW66VE, self-portraits and videos can be taken easily and conveniently.
Videos destined for the Internet can be recorded in MP4 format right away, but if the goal is exceptionally high quality, you can also record in AVCHD mode. Before sharing online, videos can be edited quickly and easily with the free PlayMemories Home software, the highest quality AVCHD format recording can be perfectly enjoyed on Full HD TVs and burned to Blu-ray disc.
The images taken by the handheld camera are compatible with the TRILUMINOS technology used in Sony BRAVIA TVs, bringing true-to-life colors to the screen.
The Waterproof design of the Handycam® LCM-GWA Semi-Hard Carrying Case allows the camera to be stored securely.
The Sony Handycam® HDR-GW66VE Full HD camera will be available in Hungary from June 2013.
