Ultra-thin BenQ notebook with AMD interior

BenQ's notebook is built on AMD's Yukon platform.

Yukon's platform is positioned by AMD over Intel Atom-powered netbooks, but the price of the notebooks built around it remains affordable.

The BenQ Joybook Lite T131 has a 13,3-inch, 1280 × 800 pixel resolution display, and its soul is an AMD Sempron U8 CPU that consumes just 200 watts, with a 1 GHz clock speed and 256 KB of second-level cache. the display is provided by the ATI Mobility Radeon X1270 integrated into the North Bridge, with a system memory size of 1 GB and a hard drive of 320 GB.

Equipped with a 1,3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, 10/100 Ethernet, a 2-in-1 memory card reader and an ExpressCard slot, the 1,8kg, 28mm-high notebook runs Windows Vista.

The purchase price of the Joybook Lite T131 has not yet been decided by BenQ.
