Ultramobil Celeron has arrived

The Ivy Bridge-based CPU attracts attention primarily with its favorable power consumption. Consuming 10 watts of a dual-core processor comes with painful sacrifices, as the operating frequency is barely 1,0 GHz, and there is no Turbo Boost and Hyper Threading, it can only be brilliant with virtualization technology. 

The second-level cache is 256 KB (available per core), and the third-level cache kicks in at 2 MB. The integrated HD graphics unit spins at 350 MHz by default, but in Turbo mode, the tempo can skyrocket to 800 MHz.

The Intel Celeron 1019Y is priced at $ 1000 for a 153-piece order.
