Ultra-light Fujitsu notebook with Windows Vista pre-installed

With the official premiere of Windows Vista approaching, manufacturers are introducing more and more computers that are already available with the new operating system.

Fujitsu’s new notebook family, the Loox T-Series, includes compact notebooks available with pre-installed Windows Vista. There are currently four laptops on offer: the T50 / T50U and T70 / T70U.

The T50 is available with a 1,2 GHz Intel Celeron M processor, 512 MB of memory and a 60 GB hard drive. The T70 boasts slightly better features than this: the CPU has 1,2 GHz Core Solo, 1GB of RAM, while the HDD can store 20GB more data than its little brother.

Both models have an optical drive that also writes double-layer DVD discs, and the "U" symbol refers to the built-in TV tuner, so we can practically talk about two technically different notebooks, or their expanded versions. The version equipped with an Intel Core Solo processor can boast a battery life of 4,8 hours.

Fujitsu products weigh just 1,3 kilograms on the scales, so there will be no problem with portability. We don't have information on pricing yet, you may know more when Vista comes out.
