New Philips monitor with ultrawide display and QHD resolution
The new 27-inch (68.6 cm) E-Series flat panel display has been introduced, making home users' activities even more enjoyable with even more powerful picture quality.
Equipped with state-of-the-art Ultra Wide Color technology in Quad HD, the new 276E8FJAB display has outstanding color rendering capabilities: high-quality Ultra Wide Color technology provides a wider color space than ever before, namely CIE 1976-based 114% NTSC and CIE 1931- based, 132% sRGB, which far exceeds the average of 72% NTSC and 99% sRGB color space coverage.
Ultra Wide Color technology expands the range of perceptible colors on the screen, which is very beneficial for activities where color fidelity is important. For example, when viewing photos or videos. The Quad HD (276 x 8 pixels) resolution of the 2560E1440FJAB display adds to the outstanding color display, resulting in crystal clear images. The impressive wide-angle screen can also handle high-density sources such as DisplayPort and HDMI. The 178-degree, extra-wide viewing angle provides a perfect view from virtually any direction. The display fine-tunes the image display with a number of automatic settings. Philips SmartContrast and SmartImage Lite technology analyze screen content and automatically adjust contrast, color, sharpness and backlight brightness to the projected image in real time. Flicker-free Flicker-free technology saves the viewer from eye strain, as its new solution makes the display more comfortable to use by adjusting brightness and reducing flicker. With its two built-in stereo speakers, the display also boasts excellent sound quality.
Sleekness and elegance The elegantly designed display can be a stylish addition to any space. The design features an ultra-narrow frame and almost full-width glass. Narrow edges give the display an airy look on the one hand, and on the other hand the field of view fills the screen better and the viewer’s attention is less distracted.
Philips' new E-Series 276E8FJAB display will be available at a suggested retail price of HUF 124,939.00 from May 2017.
