New Celerons are coming, on new foundations
It is not uncommon for new products to be the first to appear in stores in the Far East. That's what happened now.
He managed to get a few or exactly 3 new Celerons to lens in a Japanese dealership in the company of price tags. Of the three fresh Celerons, two are two-seeded and one piece is one-seeded.
The Celeron G530 and G540 have two cores that operate at 2,4 and 2,5 GHz, respectively, and in both cases the chips have 2 MB of third-level cache. The graphics processor also operates at the same 850 MHz and can be switched to 1 GHz turbo mode. The legacy of Sandy Bridge is just the 64-bit instruction set and VT-x virtualization. So the difference between the two processors is only 100 MHz, so the TDP class is the same, 65W. The Celeron G440 will be a low-power processor, accordingly, it ranks in the 35W TDP band, operates at 1,6 GHz operating voltage and 650 MHz graphics core, the latter can rise to 1 GHz with a turbo. Of course, all models fit in an LGA1155 enclosure.
The prices are very low, but unfortunately they do not deserve special attention, as they are presumably tax-free. The smaller 2-core can be taken home for Yen, corresponding to HUF 9600, according to the receipts, while the G1 with the smallest 440-core can be taken for Japanese customers for HUF 7600.
