Scam is NVIDIA's new smart chipset

The nForce 780i is nothing more than an upgraded 680i chip.

The Expreview site managed to take a few pictures of NVIDIA’s triple SLI-supporting topsheet, which stripped off the heaters to show its true face. The images show that the new chipset, which can be called new, is just an nF680i, which has been made slightly more modern using a chip codenamed BR04.

The controller next to the North Bridge provides triple SLI with PICe 2.0 support for the affected slots, which is undoubtedly an innovation over the nF680i, but there may be few against the soon-to-debut X38. This is because the nF780i still doesn't have DDR3 support, and this mule solution may not be the preferred solution for all users.

Especially not when you see what reference cooling NVIDIA has designed for the sheet. For sure, in the case of smart nForce inserts, we still have to reckon with a significant amount of heat.
