Also tuned GeForce 8800 GTS / GTX from EVGA
As expected, EVGA also produced tuned versions of the GeForce 8800 video cards.
The factory-overdriven GeForce 8800 GTS and GTX VGAs were immediately introduced in two versions, as members of the so-called Superclocked and KO series. Although there is only a few MHz differences in operating frequencies between the cards, we have become accustomed to EVGA producing a high-clock tuned version of all high-end video cards, but seemingly identical to the reference card or blessed with a unique look.
The reference values are 8800 GTS - 500/1600/1200 MHz and 8800 GTX - 575/1800/1350 MHz
The GeForce 8800s in the Superclocked series have a completely mundane look, while the KO ACS3 video cards have a cooling case with an external cover that improves cooling performance to a very minimal extent, rather than being a spectacular rather than a particularly useful solution.
The price of EVGA video cards is as follows:
- e-GeForce 8800 GTS Superclocked - $ 449,99
- e-GeForce 8800 GTX Superclocked - $ 629,99
- e-GeForce 8800 GTS KO ACS3 Edition - $ 479,99
- e-GeForce 8800 GTX KO ACS3 Edition - $ 649,99
- e-GeForce 8800 GTS - $ 439,99
- e-GeForce 8800 GTX - $ 619,99
