Market researcher Nielsen has released its latest report examining smartphone operating systems in use in the US. The document shows that most people still sign up with an Android device. Apple's system, iOS, holds second place stable, the two systems together take down 86,2 percent of mobile phones, so really other manufacturers don't have much chance of kicking the ball in the U.S. market. As the graph shows, the BlackBerry system runs on 8 percent of phones. This year, even the new iPhone will be launched, and the SGS III will arrive overseas, so further expansion is certainly expected for both iOS and Android.
