The X48 chipset is further delayed

The release shifted to March.

VR-Zone spies have managed to grab a crumb of information in which Intel notifies its partners that the official launch of the X48 chipset will be delayed until the twelfth week of this year. This means mid-March among friends as well, so so far users have had to get around with the different X38 variants.

The reason for the delay was no longer covered by the processor giant, but we can now rule out that one of the big partners would have a huge set of X38s in the background.
