Total war: one million viruses on standby
Panda Software has declared a whole-front war on viruses: as part of a concerted action at European level, it has put together a million database of viruses as a result of lengthy research and analysis.
Coordinating all its European subsidiaries, the Spanish-based Panda Software has carried out large-scale research to create a database of one million completely unique viruses. The “collection” (which is unfortunately constantly growing) has so far been made available through their free application called TotalScan.
"It is a frightening fact," said Zsolt Sándor, the company's managing director in Hungary, that, for example, every tenth person in Hungary gets a virus. Unfortunately, our predictions show that we would simply fall short of conventional methods.
The market-leading position Panda, whose Spanish database was called the first step in a paradigm shift in Spain, declared a total war. THE www.totalscan.net The search engine available at is free, anyone can benefit from the huge database.
