TechPowerUp has added stability in this release and is complete with new features.
The software will no longer cause instability while detecting AMD Ryzen Raven Ridge APUs, and the new feature is “DXVA 2.0 Hardware Decoder Information” - we get detailed information on video acceleration. Monitoring of VRAM usage and power limit reporting has become more accurate with AMD Radeon GPUs (temperature definition has also been improved at Vega), and a number of new red controllers have been supported:
- Radeon RX 460 Mobile, RX 560 Mobile, RX 570 Mobile, RX 580 Mobile, RX 550 (Baffin LE).
Progress has also been made in the other half, because so far the NVIDIA PerfCap sensor has not displayed the data in the right place. On some motherboards, the "BIOS reading not supported" error message also appeared on the greens, but now it's a thing of the past.
