Can be loaded with GPU-Z v0.6.0

The GPU-Z is still a portable, stand-alone utility, but the new version also got an installer that can place shortcuts on the Start menu and desktop.

Downloadable GPU-Z v0.6.0 1

gpuz06001For those who might not be familiar with the free app: the program allows us to get detailed information about our graphics card. We can find out more important information such as the GPU or memory clock, but we also have the ability to display real-time voltage values, fan speeds and temperature monitoring. The program can be used on the following operating systems: Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7.
One of the new features in version 0.5.8 was a rendering (non-stability check) test that helps the program provide more accurate information about the PCI-Express slot. Another innovation is the display of ASIC quality for Fermi and Southern Islands GPUs, which can be found by clicking on the icon in the upper left corner.

GPU-Z 0.6.0 now supports AMD Radeon HD 7870, HD 7850, HD 7670M, FireStream 9370, FirePro V3900 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, GT 640M, GTX 560 SE, GT 550M, GeForce 510, NVS 2100M graphics controllers . Bug fixes have been made to OpenCL detection for Fusion (Sumo and Ontario) chips and ID readability has been improved for Fermi-based cards. The programmers also fixed the bug that caused the GPU-Z not to display perfectly at certain DPI settings. It is important to note that in some configurations, the application showed incorrect clock signals when using Catalyst 12.2. The solution is to install the driver cleanly and use GPU-Z 0.6.0.
