Traditional paper bills are expensive

Traditional paper bills are expensiveDomestic small and medium-sized enterprises could save a lot if they gave up issuing traditional paper invoices. Alternative solutions, in addition to being easy to implement, would also have a positive impact on the environment.

According to the most conservative estimates, Hungarian companies spend hundreds of millions of forints a month on mailing their invoices, despite the fact that various web invoicing programs are able to ensure that postal processes are not omitted. In the case of remote printing or issuing an e-invoice, only electronic data communication takes place between the parties, ie only a working internet connection is required for the document in question to reach its destination.

The transition to Internet, so-called cloud-based invoicing software would also guarantee greater data security for small and medium-sized enterprises - emphasizes József Szlama, Development Manager of Infotéka Kft., Which also subscribes to the eKalmár web invoicing program. The expert points out that in addition to reducing costs, using such solutions also makes invoicing much more controllable.

“Using remote printing or an e-invoice, the arrival of the receipt is always well documented, and the exhibitor will always receive feedback that the other party has accepted his copy. When using business management software, we can't talk about documents that are lost or even received late from an accounting point of view: in addition to postal costs, the risks are also minimized, ”the expert emphasizes.

Of course, it is not a negligible fact that the transition also has a positive effect on the environment. By making mailing redundant, we can save a lot of paper, so the production of invoices and envelopes will require less and less wood to be cut down. "The lack of user knowledge should not hinder the spread of new solutions, as the steps taken towards a paperless office will reduce the ecological footprint of businesses," added József Szlama, who emphasized that in addition to domestic internet coverage, the possibility of digital invoicing today it has been given to almost everyone. Web billing programs are available from anywhere, even on a mobile phone, and there are some that cost no more than an array of accounts.
