We’ve heard rumors before that the Z370 chipset won’t stay on top for long.

AIDA64 revealed more than it should have

The latest update of AIDA64 (5.95.4569) states that the capabilities of the software have been enhanced with support for the following boards: MSI B360 / H310 / H370 / Z390 series. The most interesting item on the list is the latter, because the Z390 will no doubt be a high-end chipset.

This is pure speculation from now on, but we think it is easy to imagine that the new chipset will be unveiled at Computex in June. There’s also a chance that the Z390 will start with the eight-core Coffee Lake S processors, which could obviously be a major headache for Ryzen 2000 series solutions. Either way, it’s as likely that the start isn’t that far off, as the AIDA64 developers have already begun preparations.
