Kensington has introduced an ingenious iPod / iPhone dock

The aptly named "Charging Dock with Mini Battery Pack" not only charges the device's built-in energy source, but also provides the user with a spare battery.

The unique accessory serves a dual purpose: on the one hand, it charges the connected iPod or iPhone device, and on the other hand, during the same period of time, it also supplies energy to a spare battery that can be connected to the player during use, namely through the standard "Dock Connector". Thanks to the extra battery, we can get almost 3 hours of extra talk time for the iPhone, and the device provides approximately 30 hours of bonus operating time for playing music.
