Average netbook served by NEC

The NEC netbook will be available from July 9, but only in Japan at that time.

LaVie Light Lui's netbook was built following the classic recipe by Tokyo's NEC: its display is 10,1 inches, its resolution is 1024 × 600 pixels, it is powered by the GMA 950 from the Intel workshop, its central unit is also supplied by the "blues", the single-core Atom N280 is clocked at 1,66 GHz.

The 1,32 kg machine is also equipped with the following devices: 1 GB system memory, 160 GB HDD, 1,3 megapixel webcam, SD memory card slot, 10/100 Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 radio. The device's battery provides 8,5 hours of operation.

The recommended consumer price for the netbook has so far been silenced by the NEC.
