Thermaltake DeskCool: cooling air for the hands

DeskCool is a fanless, tiny refrigerant that prevents the user’s hands from sweating.

For the USB-connectable DeskCool, Thermaltake uses a very unique cooling solution: the airflow generated by the vibration of the membrane inside the device cools the player's hand as it leaves, preventing the palm from sweating on hot days.

We have yet to see the spread of the so-called SynJet technology developed at a university in the state of Georgia, so for now there is no question of mass production of DeskCool, the tool presented at CeBIT was for demonstration purposes only.
